Founder: Jennifer Boniface Ward
IDENTITY AND PHILOSOPHY
Boniface Spaces are a Hertfordshire based architectural design firm with a passion for creating living spaces which make people smile. We work very closely with clients from day one to realise their dreams, helping them to prioritise what really matters to them and getting the most out of a site based on a firm understanding of the planning process.
Originating from the sunny climate of South Africa, Jen’s design philosophy seeks to replicate that environment - maximising light, space, views and importantly the relationship between indoor and outdoor space. We believe this is what sets us apart, and why clients get so excited about our designs.
HISTORY
Jen studied and graduated as an Architect (B. Arch) from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa in 1995. She went on to work for TPS Architects for ten years, becoming an established member of the leadership team, equally comfortable leading large or scale scale projects in the hospitality, mixed use, commercial and residential sectors.
Jen left South Africa for the UK in 2008, and worked in the London market before starting a family in 2010.
Since moving out to Hertfordshire in 2011, Jen has combined motherhood with private work - including significant home renovations of her own, and with both children now in school has taken the business to the next level.
